University Education in Germany

Exam requirement for undergraduate studies, English language opportunity for graduate studies...

The German education system may seem complex; however, with the right guidance, this process is a significant investment in your life.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree?

BACHELOR
  • YKS Requirement: Applicants must have been accepted into a four-year program in Turkey.

  • Language Requirement: 95% of programs are in German (C1 level required). Some state universities may offer conditional acceptance with only basic German, allowing you to meet the language requirement later. This requirement is generally not enforced at private universities.

  • Preparation: For those who do not speak German, a "Studienkolleg" or language preparation course is offered.
MASTER
  • NO EXAM REQUIRED: You do not need to take an exam in Türkiye; your bachelor's degree is sufficient.

  • Language Requirement: A wide range of 100% English program options are available (IELTS/TOEFL is sufficient).

  • Direct Application: Opportunity to directly transfer to programs that match your field of study.
Is 100% English-language and Low-Cost Education Possible?

Free State Universities: Even if you do a master's degree in English in Germany, you won't pay tuition fees in most states. You only pay a per-semester transportation and social contribution fee (€300 - €500).

Private but Affordable Institutions: Some internationally focused institutions offer English-language programs directly integrated into the business world for as little as €8,000 per year (incomparably lower than in the UK or USA).

Career-Oriented Locations: We choose campuses not only close to the school but also near global companies (Tesla, SAP, Mercedes) where you can do internships.

You might have these questions in mind.

Is German a requirement for a master's degree?

No. If you are accepted into an English-language program, the consulate doesn't expect you to know German. However, we strategically recommend learning a basic level for social life and the job search process.

I'm an undergraduate student, and I didn't get into the university I wanted in the YKS (Turkish university entrance exam). Can I still go to Germany?

Germany is strict; it opens doors to the same program (or similar) you got into in Türkiye. We guide you to make the best strategic choice within your score.

What is a blocked account (Sperrkonto)?

It's an account required for a visa that guarantees your annual living expenses (approximately €11,904). You receive this money back yourself regularly every month throughout your studies.

University applications in Germany are only open for two semesters a year. A missing document or incorrect choice will result in you having to wait until the following year.
