Required Documents for Malta Student Visa

• Visa Acceptance Letter (from the school or institution in Malta)

• Visa Application Form (completed and signed)

• Bank Statements (in English):

  • Proof of sufficient funds:

    • €26 per day if accommodation is self-arranged

    • €18 per day if accommodation is arranged by the school

  • Should cover the entire duration of stay plus return travel

• Travel and Health Insurance:

  • Minimum coverage of €30,000

  • Must include coverage for medical emergencies and repatriation

• Photocopy of all passport pages (including blank pages)

• Flight itinerary or tickets:

  • Return ticket is mandatory for course durations under 6 months

• Accommodation booking:

  • Must include the student’s name, full address, and duration of stay

  • Minimum required stay is 14 nights

• 2 Passport-size photos:

  • Must comply with ICAO standards

• Appointment confirmation letter

• Visa application fee payment receipt

• Birth certificate:

  • One original and one translated copy

• Copy of passport ID pages of both parents

• Parental consent letter:

  • One original and one translated copy

  • Must clearly state purpose of travel, dates, and grant permission to study abroad

• Sponsor letter (in English), stating financial responsibility

• Sponsor’s bank statement (in English):

  • Should reflect the same financial requirements

• Full copy of the sponsor’s passport
